I recently discovered an amazing proton cancer therapy clinic in Prague. Having recently had a prostate cancer scare myself i did some research.

The clinic has already treated men form UK with impressive results. Its expensive from £16-30,000 depending how far its progressed. But in theory costs can en recovered from the NHS or if the specialist recommends Proton you could opt for Prague. Its available in USA but much more expensive. Worth a look id say.

There is a guy who posts on LinkedIn about the proton center in Prague and rates it very highly.  Personally, I was fortunate to have my insurance cover all of my proton therapy at UPenn Hospital in Philadelphia.  9 weeks, one treatment per day, 5 days per week.  Completely painless and non-invasive (other than the balloon - another story!). PSA down from 6.45 to <1 in a year. No side effects. Not even on tamsulosin any more.

Ia m more than willing to share my story about why I believe proton is the best way to go.

Check out our brotherhood web page in the USA  protonbob.org   (bob = brotherhood of the balloon)
