Pomegranate juice

I wonder if buying the tablets intsead of the drink might be a good idea to avoid sugar?

If you are looking to avoid the added sugar that goes into the majority of Pomegranate juice drinks then the tablet form may be what you are looking for however, my concern is that how much of the active ingredients (the stuff that has the most benefit to us) is lost in the process of making the tablet.

With a pure unadulterated pomegranate juice the only sugars present are the natural ones and not the added ones such as fructose syrup which can be found in most of the "juice drinks" on the supermarket shelves and in the cool cabinets.

I would say that everything I've said about Pomegranate juice and extract can also apply to Cranberry!

After giving the Biona Pomegranate Juice a go I thought I'd look around for an organic version and found this one and like Biona it is unadulterated and is not made from a concentrate:

Took delivery of 12 bottles today and wasn't to happy with the taste when compared to Biona but hopefully it will grow on my over the next 48 days.

Welcome to the forum pomegranate 1000.

I'm sure I speak for my fellow forumites when I say we all take the health of ourselves and our loved ones seriously.

We post here to share our own personal experiences and thoughts on PCa and strive not to advise others on any form of treatment.

Perhaps you may wish to share your own experiences of how you believe pomegranate products have helped you in some way!

Hello Pom1000

""The "Pom " juice, so recommended in this forum, is a concentrated juice yet many posters are saying that it isn't !""

""Things such as "Pom" is not from concentrated.""

Confused we are , yourself generating further misinformation.
I'll stick to the SiNess lager diet.

I am taking pomegranate juice daily. I have to say I am just using the supermarket stuff and all I have done really is drink this instead of my usual orange juice pre breakfast. I drink about 8 fluid ounces - that's the amount recommended by Patrick Walsh in his Surviving Prostate Cancer book.

I also drink some green tea. I do these on the basis that even if they don't do any good (and there is some evidence that they can help) they certainly won't do any harm.
