Hi Alan, the only people that have posted in recent years about using Viridal have been Ulsterman, ChrisJ, Big Vic and Louise1969 - none of them reported huge satisfaction with it. Hopefully, there will be a non-posting member reading this who will come to your aid?

Hi Alan
I used Caverject and Viridal , both of which are actually the drug Alprostadil which can also be supplied as urethral pellets or cream. I had extremely random results with both at varying doses and never really a full erection. What I did have was massive amounts of pain post injection like it had been slammed in a car door. The injecting itself was fine if you are brave.
I moved onto the Invicorp25 injection privately which provided for me a perfect pre op erection with strength through to where my prostate used to be. I love it and recommend it. However I was lucky enough to get nerve sparing surgery and eventually daily 5mg Cialis , and after 3 years I now have 99% on demand erections and morning erections and daytime erections again — although my cancer isn’t cured sadly. I believe in some areas Invicorp25 is available on prescription. It isn’t more costly. Totally pain free and helps 70% of men where all else fails. Good luck and never give up , and use a pump to keep him healthy

Paintera, the tablets won’t work if you had non nerve-sparing. Are you under the care of an ED nurse / andrology clinic, or does the GP manage all of this for you? It is worth asking whether there is an ED clinic in your area and get a referral. It may be that after 6 years of no erections, you have atrophy of the penis, which is unfortunately permanent and so the penis will not enlarge whatever you do. Did you get a vacuum pump and hav3 you used it over the years? An ED nurse could look at whether there is any benefit in you having one now.

Like Chris above, I experienced excruciating pain with it.  Based on Chris’s experience, I asked for Invicorp 25.  No pain at all.  I’m sure viridal works for most men, but it wasn’t for me.

Thank you for the info and reply Chris ,

like you my cancer is still with me unfortunately . And I was not lucky enough to have had nerve sparing surgery .

my operation to remove the prostate was 6 years ago and I have tried most of the recommended tablets which give me very intense  heart burn and even nose bleed. So whatever effects the tablets should have they seem to be doing the wrong end of my body 😎😎

i have found that each time I use the viridal injection ( which 9 times out of 10 doesn't work ) it's like having a wasp sting , which is not the most comforting feeling .

where do you get the Invicorp25 from ?

Cheers

It can be bought privately online from theonlineclinic.co.uk. It’s about £25 per jab and has to be kept in fridge. No mixing and very small amount of fluid. But obviously check with GP etc first. You have to fill out an online survey and the doctor gets back to you within 24 hrs with his results as to whether he will diagnose.
