Testosterone, PSA & Enzalutamide

Just a quick update for those of you on the Enza Journey.

Just had 5 Month (20 weeks) Oncology appointment and pleased to say that PSA now down to 1.2 and Testosterone undetectable<0.4.

Minimal additional side effects over Prostap of feeling a bit more fatigued after work. Managing to keep my weight in check recently but since dx have put on 12kgs.

However the really odd one is whats happen to my hair. Since finishing Chemo (10/18 kept most of it used a cold cap) it first went curly (weird), then back to normal (grey and thinning on top) to now getting less grey, more of it and growing back where it was thinning (I'm not complaining!). I am having to shave less and body hair is thinning out again as during chemo. Is this a known Enza side effect or just my lack of Testosterone?

All the best

Andy

Enza is reducing your testosterone further, which leads to more of the side effects of all HTs .... including loss of male hair patterns.

My father-in-law also had beautiful hair post-chemo.

My partner also has this sweet taste, and not fancying foods he used to like (particularly bread).
