So folks, a little update for you. After a good year since dx I've high a bit of a bump. Problems passing water, scan done, prostate enlarged and closing off the urethra.
Cathererised then a turp operation done, problems stopping the bleeding post op, 2 transfusions and 7 days hospital, problems breathing one morning, pulmonary embolism found in lung. Back home now big bag of tabs and I self inject blood thinning medicine twice a day for 3 months.
Started radiotherapy on the prostate yesterday 1 of 6 sessions and my catheter comes out next week.
Keeping positive for a nice christmas.
