Went to Truro Cathedral today and they are raising funds through a Roof Appeal so we bought a slate in memory of all our friends from A F 3, 4 and 5.

Just added another name to the list, Stan Joslin on the Facebook pages, only managed two weeks following a prognosis of some months, so sudden but massive spread.

Our very sincere condolences to Norma and her family.

RIP Stan.

I've only just read piglets post, so added Tony to my list too.

Norma and Marje, please accept our very sincere condolences to you and your families.

God Bless, Chris

Sad news. Here it is reported by Kevin's wife Susan.
KEVIN VARDY
Wigan, United Kingdom

16 Oct 2016 — Kevin's courageous and selfless life came to an end at 7 am Sunday 25th September 2016. He died at home where he desired. For 10 long days I sat holding his hands and kissed his last breath away. Privileged to have shared, loved and laughed the last 30 years with this man. He was 54. Please,if any of you are able, carry on his work to raise awareness.

Thanks guys, it is with regret that I have now added Kevin's name to my list, he fought hard to raise awareness, there is still his petition on the WEB if any of you haven't yet signed it.

I have also added Chris Clark from the Facebook thread who died yesterday.

Very sincere condolences to both Kevin and Chris's families.

RIP KEVIN and CHRIS.

God Bless
Chris

Julie,

Thanks, I did receive details on email from his Petition web site, but didn't post last night, which meant that I could add Chris from Facebook too.

I am still following your thread, and Trevor's up and downs, he, and you are always in our prayers, so hopefully he will continue to see the boys grow up.

With love and Blessings, Chris xx

Condolences to both families.

I have also signed Kevs petition as even though I am unsure about a screening programme it may at the very least raise awareness.

I have now closed my list of names ready for this years service of Remembrance at our local All Souls Service next Sunday, 30th October.

They WILL ALL be remembered by the lighting of some candles, plus an extra candle for previous years.

God Bless you all, and as a famous comedian used to finish with, "May your God go with you ".

I don't know if I will carry this on for the future as most of us oldies have lost all our friends, I think that there are only a couple of stalwarts from B2PCa still around, but I will still take a note of names even if they aren't listed.

God Bless
Chris.

Someone has to take up the cudgels. This service is invaluable to those who wish to pay their respects

Well, we had a 'good' service yesterday, our local All Souls Memorial Service, and it was the first time with a new Vicar who actually mentioned The Prostate Cancer Sufferers.

If anyone would like to see the service sheet then message me and I will try to put it out on the PC Facebook thread.

ABSENT FRIENDS 6 will start in a new thread, but only if I know names and dates, so you all know how to contact me.

God Bless you all, and all the Widows, and families of our Absent Friends, your men folk WILL be remembered.

God Bless
Chris.
